Davao City: coal power plant

Construction of Therma South's coal power plant
at barangay Binugao in Toril is about half completed.
Some 2,000 workers are on site.
The P25-billion power plant will supply 300 MW
to the Mindanao grid by the first half of 2015.
A first of its kind in the country will be its coal dome
that will contain the supply of coal.
